I feel super ripped off as they charged me for fresh juice and no where did it mention the orange juice would be from a carton...it costs the same for 16oz of just freshly squeezed carrot juice. What a rip off.

This is my new favorite whole foods. They have so many fun new snacks and products I have not seen at other health food stores. However I do want whole foods as a company to be more health conscientious. They have limited truly organic and gluten free options. This location does have a smoothie/juice bar which Is super cool, but the fruit is not organic!! So given that I would not purchase a smoothie made with fruit that has been sprayed with pesticides and genetically modified.
This review is only regarding the Juice Bar. I got a Rise & Shine (orange and carrot juice) 16oz and watched them make it. I was shocked to see that they don't use fresh OJ, they use their store brand OJ that I can pick up in the grocery section. Not even OJ that they juiced in the morning but CARTON OJ. The carrots were freshly juiced.
Great if you prefer natural foods. Good selection - The only place I can find my almond milk mocha drink!
Love this Whole Foods. It's so clean, has a layout that is easy to navigate, and staff are way helpful and friendly. They are currently remodeling and I'm looking forward to seeing the changes.
