Only a few cops care about ya the rest are assholes!..
The officer assigned to my case was polite, responsive, and helpful. The records clerks I interacted with were the same. I have no complaints about Tigard Police Department and feel they did their jobs fairly, without bias, and epitomized the "protect and serve" mentality that police departments embody.
Good luck filing a claim if even someone tries to threaten to kill ya! Deal with everything yourself and take care of it without the popo!
My family including myself has been literally destroyed by the Tigard PD. I had 2 major thefts in my home and I ended up in the hospital twice because of it. They took two weeks to assign a detective to work my case over $150,000 was taken in hard assets which were my investments. I had only had them in my home two weeks when they were stolen. The people who did this one has been convicted and is in prison and the second who actually took the items ended up doing additional Federal crimes and try to murder her ex-boyfriend. They only recovered $61. I have lost everything due to their lousy investigation delays judgemental assumptions and lack of truly understanding the situation including writing the report which was wrong. I have tried for over two years even contacting the mayor without a reply to get help. I was on the news I started a go fund me account. I did the work for them I put my book together with photos appraisals tracked the incoming phone calls from my home proving they were here for them. They didn't care how this theft destroyed my life and my family. Something has to be done to educate this police department and how to deal with their poor judgment, racist behavior, profiling and mental illness. So many times I tried to get help and was ignored by those higher up than the detective who did try her best but was put in a horrible situation due to slopply initial investigation. I even stepped on the broken lock from my lock box after the police left they didn't even care as it was evidence. I hope nobody else has to be treated like this again but I'm sure they will go on with the merry skinhead approach to the citizens that live in Tigard.
Too many women cops here. They presume their emotions vsludly dictact their decisions. It's scary knowing if I call for help a weak women will drive over
Can't resist 8 o'clock Thursday morning two tirgard PD standing in the middle of 90 9W with a vehicle broken down in one of two lanes, are these not men? push this vehicle to a safe location so tax payers can get to work
